Men Top Emmaus
Faith grabbed a conference road victory this past Monday night, defeating host Emmaus Bible College 68-44. Faith moves to 10-10 on the year and 4-4 in the conference with the win.
Emmaus jumped out to a 6-0 lead as Faith opened with a missed three and two turnovers. However, the Eagles regrouped and began to focus on taking care of the ball and high percentage shots. The result was a 12-2 run and the lead. Faith would continue to build on that lead, pushing it to 15 with four minutes left in the first half. A mini-run by Emmaus over the final four minutes pulled the host back within nine going into the break, but Faith still held a comfortable 33-24 lead.
Faith quickly pused the lead back to 18 in the first four minutes of the second half and were never really threatened after that as Emmaus was unable to pull any closer than 11 in the half. Faith eventually pushed the lead to 20 en route to the 68-44 victory.
The Eagles will finish out their regular season with two home conference games on Friday and Saturday. Faith will host St. Louis Christian College on Friday at 7:30 PM, followed by Central Christian College of the Bible on Saturday at 4 PM.
