Streak Moves to Seven
The Faith men moved their win streak to seven this past Saturday afternoon with an MCC Conference victory over visiting Central Christian College of the Bible. The Eagles are now 12-4 overall and remain atop the conference at 4-0.
Faith held CCCB to 25 first half points and 25% shooting during the half to take an 18 point lead into the break. The Eagles held a slim 7-6 lead at the 16 minute mark of the first half and 20-16 at the 12 minute mark. Faith would then go on an 23-9 run over the final 10 minutes of the first half to earn that 18 point lead. Out of the break, Faith pushed it to 24 in the first four minutes of the second half and would lead by as much as 28 as they finished out the game for a 79-58 win.
It was a team effort all around, as nine different men scored for Faith. Josh Bray led the Eagles with 18 points and 7 rebounds, while John Acree added 17. Jon Luke Talton added 13 to the total for the Eagles. Cody Chaffin finished with 4 assists, while Aaron Leistikow added 4 of his own assists and 2 steals.
Faith's next game features a strong Emmaus Bible College team on Tuesday, January 27. That game will tip off at 7:00 PM.
