Faith Doubles Up St. Louis
The Eagle men took care of business Friday night, defeating visiting conference opponent St. Louis Christian College 87-39. Faith moves to 11-4 on the year, and now stands atop the Midwest Christian College Conference at 3-0.
Faith wasted no time taking control of the game, jumping out to an 18-2 lead in the first five minutes of play. The Eagles continued to control the game, leading 24-54 at the half. The second half was much the same, as the Eagles gave everyone several minutes of action while continuing to maintain a comfortable lead. All 12 players dressed played at least 12 minutes and no one played more than 21 in the win. Ten of the 12 players scored for the Eagles. Josh Bray led the way with 22 points while Cody Chaffin added 21. Aaron Leistikow finished with 13 points. John Acree grabbed 12 rebounds, while Willie Felderman handed out five assists. Ryan Kupferschmid grabbed three steals on the night.
The Eagles will close out the weekend with another home conference contest on Saturday, January 23. Faith will face Central Christian College of the Bible in a 4pm match up.
