The Eagle men fell to 0-1 in the North Central region Friday night with a loss to Trinity Bible College. Faith now stands at 4-2 on the year with the loss.
In a game which saw neither team shoot well, the Eagles simply could not hit anything in either half of the game. Faith defended well, holding Trinity to 37% from the floor and 18% from behind the arc, but the Lion's defense was better, with Faith shooting just 26% for the game and 17% from behind the arc. Faith outscored Trinity in points off turnovers and second chance opportunites, but that wasn't enough to overcome their struggles from the floor.
The Eagles will look for redemption and hopefully a better offensive performance Saturday at 1 PM. The Eagles will face off with regional opponent Providence University College at North Central University.
