Baptist Academy's Jordan Smith to Play for Eagles
Faith Baptist Bible College head coach Brian Fincham is pleased to announce the signing of Baptist Academy's (Indiannapolis, IN) Jordan Smith. Smith is the fourth member of the Eagles '14-'15 recruiting class. He will join Willie Felderman, Micah VanNausdle, and Ryan Kupferschmid this fall at Faith.
Smith played two years for the Charger's, averaging 14.6 ppg. during his senior year. He shot 52% from the floor, including 33% from behind the arc and 82% from the charity stripe. Smith also handed out 1.4 apg, nabbed 1.1 spg, and grabbed 3.4 rpg. Jordan was part of the school's first IHSAA sectional title winning team in 2013, and received recognition as an Indiana Christian All Star Selection, a 2nd Team All Hoosier Holiday Classic selection in 2013, and the Coaches Award in 2014.
Off the court Jordan received recognition on the Administrator's honor roll and serves in his youth group's ministry team. Jordan is the son of Darrin and Gail Smith, and will be pursuing a Pastoral degree while at Faith.
